I Hate Poem by Liam Carey

I Hate

Rating: 5.0

I Hate our world
I Hate that we have to live by social norms or else we are different
I Hate that being different is a bad thing
I Hate that our countries are being runned by liars
I Hate that our people can not work towards a common good and act as one
I Hate that people want equality yet fight for the opposite
I Hate that people have to be divided
I Hate that people label others without truly knowing them
I Hate that the media is malicious
I Hate that people forget that we are all still human
I Hate that people need something to make their life meaningful
I Hate that people cannot live life for what it is
I Hate that people ignore their mistakes rather than learn from them
I Hate that people follow their ignorance rather than confronting it
I Hate that I cannot find the strength or courage to pursue what I want most in life
I Hate that some people cannot express themselves
I Hate that, I hate myself

A compact synopsis of the ills of this word, well articulated and insightfully brought forth in good diction with insight. Lovely poem written with conviction. Thanks for sharing Liam.
