I Fell In Love



I fell in love
with you
underneath a tree
I remember your words
sounded like a song
and you hit
the high notes perfectly

I fell in love
with you
underneath your sheets
I remember your lips
tasted like coffee
and you brewed
the perfect pot

But the next morning
I woke up to
old coffee
and notes
out of tune
