I Doubt If I Am Alive Poem by Abdul Wahab

I Doubt If I Am Alive

Rating: 5.0

I am born
And brought up

But I doubt whether I am alive
As I am kept on dark

Fed on lies
Know not where I am

I change my side
To change my fate

But it gives me the same side
I see the same sun

with the same light
as if I move

in circles
and face the same con

and same deceit
again and again

I taste the same life
And silently I am cut

with a knife
kept in dark

as I hate to shout
so I secretly cry

like a dew
no one can see

my tears are soaked up
as the layers of the carpet is very deep
