I do not understand
Why people do hurtful things
Why some people leave you
Why others never come back
But most of all I do not understand
Why our President decides
To send people overseas.
What I understand the most is hope,
Hope in a better tomorrow
Where your loved ones come back
The hope to stay strong,
Your soldier will be okay.
Hope in a better tomorrow.
