I Do Not Like Long Poems....
inasmuch as i
have no liking for
long speeches,
for i am an
impatient man with
other things to do
like gazing at stars
dipping on the shallow
waters of the river
riding horses and
climbing mountains,
i am sorry, i reject
that long poem of
yours. Submit it to
the commission, let
them know what epic
you have written
for those star years
for those future trek.
