I Do Not Count The Days

Rating: 5.0

I DO NOT COUNT THE DAYS

I do not count the days
But they go by
I do not know how many I have left
But in so many now
I do little
Much less than I could-

I perhaps should feel more guilty
But I am easy on myself
A little writing more a little less
Will change nothing-

I am lazy and slow in old age
And nothing I write
Will make me not die.
