I Dare You

I dare you to be different
And take God at His Word
Check out His Holy Bible
Begin to read His Word
See if you can prove to me
That what I believe is wrong
Come take up the challenge
If you think that you are strong

It will take some effort
I'll tell you that right now
It is not a feeble undertaking
And that I know right well
Begin there in the gospels
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
Then onto the Book of Acts
Unto you reach Revalation

Give them thoughtful consideration
The words there you will find
Make your heart ready for changing
It happens everytime
For God's Word is like a sword
It will cut you to the quick
Discerning each thought and intent of your heart
The Spirit sees to it!

Well are you up for it
Are you going to take it on
Then turn in your Bible to the gospel of Matthew
And let your reading begin
Praise God for your acceptance
I trust you'll follow through
Or do I have to repeat again
"I dare you!
