I Cry Poem by Spiritwind Wood

Today I saw an Angel cry
as she gazed at a cloudy sky
and as I walked on by
I had to turned and asked her why

She looked deep inside of me
like I was lost in another place
with tears rolling down her face
as if only she knew what to see
and with a gentle kiss like the wind
she blew so wild and free

She said I cry for your sin
I cry you have faith again
and I cry for your heart alone
so that your eyes dry
and no more weep of stone

She said I cry that you let me in
let me show you the way home
I cry for your sadness
and touch you with my tears of tenderness

She said most of all I cry
inside your darkness my sweet lullaby
so your soul will never die
