I Could Lay In Your Embrace Poem by Katerina Richmond

I Could Lay In Your Embrace

Rating: 4.8

I could lay in your embrace,
Day by night, night by day,
Letting time keep steady pace
As we watch the branches sway.

We can go out, and play with glee
That is, of course, if you'll keep me.

Your kiss will stay in my thoughts,
making me wait for another.
It leaves my thoughts in knots,
But I can call it a pleasureful bother.

Your eyes so big and kind
It opens the window to your mind.
Your thought are many,
Your love is plenty,
I'm always eager to see what I can find.

I could stay in your embrace through winter spring and fall.
I will always crave your kiss, the big ones most of all
Our love is like a tree, I know it will grow tall.
I could lay in your embrace, the warmest of them all

Oh, it's a sweet poem. 'Your kiss will stay in my thoughts, making me wait for another. It leaves my thoughts in knots, But I can call it a pleasureful bother.' Liked this stanza. If you have time, please read my poem 'You And Me' and 'Love Is' and offer your views on them.
