I Confess Poem by Argentine Tango

I Confess

Rating: 5.0

I used to find comfort in silence and solitude,
Taking time to allow the stress of the day,
The worry and doubt to recede in my mind.
But now instead of hiding all thought away
I focus it on you.

You fill my silent moments to the brim,
Invigorating the open pores of my soul.
You steal away a beat of my heart,
And I give in to your gentle pull,
Allow myself to sink because I know you can swim.

Sometimes your voice is just enough
To make me at a loss for words,
And I always feel right at home in your arms.
I searched and found, I knocked and you answered.
I trust I’m blessed, I confess I’m in love.
