I Come Back
I feel angry, I feel upset.
I argue, I protest.
I talk loud, I go mute,
Yet I come back,
'Cause you are so cute!
My dreams are distant,
My wishes kept dormant.
My pride is trifled with,
Yet I come back,
Your whims to live with!
The shadow lengthens,
The twilight hastens,
The darkness threatens,
So I come back, and see
How well our bond strengthens!
