I Choose You
You need to know
that you were never
just turning left
at a break in the path
You were never just
a split second mindset
that I somehow gave away
and I'm not leaving you
next to the light we let in
to sweep up the dust
and start again with someone new
I choose you
I keep choosing you
each and every day.
