I Choose Poem by Clephane Roberts

I Choose

Rating: 5.0

I choose to be terrific today,
Though the atmosphere is cloudy and gray.
No matter what comes my way this day,
I choose to be terrific today.

I choose joy today,
Though sorrow and worry press my way.
No matter what my stress-born associates say
I choose joy today.

I choose enthusiasm today
Though lifelessness and deadness cross my way.
No matter what the unenthusiastic seems to say
I choose enthusiasm today
