I Cannot Haughty Be



I cannot haughty be.
With my back to the
Wall
I can only resign myself
So long
I have been with my back to wall!
I thought
I would find breath to escape
The cutting edge of the guillotine
Already I see it dazzling:
Descending
Be quick
My head is off.
