I Can See

I can see myself beaming with exhilaration
today every cloud has a silver lining
every tree and leaf is whimsical
but yesterday was another day I spent
in a pretty different way
sadness made me it's prey
my face was devoid of happiness
as I got swindled with the world of anguish.
Every person can change
any minute any second
as life is a game
being playful is the best.

Enjoyed this poem. It depicts life from both sides, happiness and sorrow. There's always a silver lining even in storm clouds, we learn from each new experience how to deal with life in the future. Thank you for your wonderful comment on my poem: Eighth And Ninth Dimension, totally appreciate it,
glad you liked it. (Report) Reply

Another beautiful write! Each day has its share of joys and sorrows! On certain days, we will be overwhelmed with happiness, yet another day may see us in deep sorrow or moody in spirit and lacking in cheer! Such erratic changes are so natural! (Report) Reply

Beautiful poem Rubab. Everything changes in no time. As you said being playful is the best. Taken lightly is the best. (Report) Reply
