I Can Fly Poem by sophie bree dennis

I Can Fly

the walls block the outside
the air fills it in
leaves a gap for you
to sit on the stairway and dream of us two
mirrors surround us as we kiss in the light
and mummble i love you
which felt so right
we wait for the sun to set
and look at the sights
outside the window
and see all those kites
soaring through the air
like it was the first
time
that we seen it coming, our way
we lean out the window
and start to say
CATCH ME BIRDIE
IM SURE I CAN FLY
I WILL SORE WITH ALL MY MITE
you gotta walk through the doorss
and you gotta run through the traps
and you gotta sore through the clouds
and there aint no turning back
