I Brush Off Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Brush Off

Once we lived
And believed
In nice existence
But lost the chance

She parted once for all
Neglecting my call
Choosing another partner
Another jolt as pain delivered

What was left for me?
To reject world and feel free
I chose loneliness
To bear glom on face

It makes me to feel sad
But I am not misled
I brush off old memory
And feel no sorry

It was her decision
And I raised no question
To ask any explanation or reason
She was altogether different person

I have decided to live with darkness
But not forever till I face
The courage to withstand truth
And go no deep to find full proof

I Brush Off
