I Bid You Goodbye

Your restless heart desires so
While my tears fall so hard
It takes two to love that I know
So why am I the only one
I must break away from this spell
Leave you where I found you
Surely this love is so wrong
Now I must take my lead
I bid you goodbye

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
