I Arise Poem by Jason Kelly

I arise to meet the day a new,
As my soul sings with the vibrancy of youth
I am Alive…
And through the darkest hours of my journey,
I Found hope,
For in my faith I walked not alone
But rather with the father and the son,

I arise to meet the day,
Let the rhymes of life rest,
Listen to the beauty of the sounds of strings,
Let The rhythm return and hear the voices of youth play,
Let the gray fall away,
And I become as I was meant to be
A child again,
A child of god.
