*i Am Waiting Poem by Bob Blackwell

*i Am Waiting

Rating: 3.1

Like a fruit ripening,
a nut within its shell,
A cocoon that holds a butterfly,
for a chest, a box, a
door which holds the key;
to open flood gates of
a dam that holds, all the
unused reservoir of love,
for caring in this world.

The imagery you used here Bob is vivid and meaningful. Making us all want that waiting attitude, because like you I am sure it will come, it will 'cover the earth as the waters cover the very sea' - all we need as we wait is faith and hope.A beautiful short piece.
