I AM TIRED OF THE SIMPLE ONE- DIMENSIONAL POEMS

I am tired of the simple one- dimensional poems-
I want my irony back
And my contradictions and ambiguities-
I want the beauty back of a phrase which says more by itself
Than I initially intended it to have-
I want a way of writing which is a way of multiplying meanings
Not making them seem so simple singular and clear-

I want my Poetry back
But I fear I have lost it,
And it will in no way come back by itself soon.
