I am the one you bring your troubles upon
I am the one you call your fears to
I am the one you show hatred towards
I am the one you scorn abuse at
I am the one who will save your life
I am the one who stares death in the eye
I will stare the eyes of a mugger
I am the one to hear a baby dry
I am the one who will make you rest assure
I am one that will protect harm from your door
I am the one that can feel the fear
I am the one that will work without mine of time
I am the one that will help prevent crime
I am the one that work to defeat terrorism
I am the one that will pick up the pieces
I am the one who will help support your home
I am the one who will patrol alone
I am the one that will keep your safe at night
I am the one at the end of the phone
I am the one who will stand against it all
I am the one who will see what you will never want to
I am the one who will do what you can only dream
I am the one who thinks of things you never thought possible
I am the one who will risk life and limb to save a life
I am the one who will stand in the rain for hours upon end
I am the one who will wear uniform that protects me from death
I am the one trained to tackle people that are there to harm you
I am the one who will not take no as an answer
I am the one who you call ‘The Boys in Blue’
I am the one you will shout pig at with your mates
I am the one you will call in times of crisis
I am the one you will rely upon in times of need
I am the one who will keep your children safe as they sleep
I am the one who will be there as the burglars creep
