I Am Sorry Poem by Tony Adah

I Am Sorry

A man yanked a deep wound
In my heart with his tongue
No where could I find medication
Than from his mouth.
He hid the truth in his own heart
I tried a hat
On my own heart
And I get hurt
By his humbug
Until our common friend
Snatched his tongue that
Secreted a panacea
Of 'I am sorry' which healed and restored my heart
And I am happy.
