I Am Sorry

These three little words
That mean so much
That are taken for granted
By so many of us

Take into consideration
The conditions in which they are said
There not just spoken
To get you in bed

These three little words
That are spoken from my lips
Are said from the heart
For my guilt I express

These three little words
I feel I cannot express
To you; myself
The pain and distress

I Am Sorry
What more is there
I have tried these three little words
But do you hear
