I am so very sorry
When your world goes upside down
But I'll be here for you
I'll be your personal clown

I am so very sorry
When things just won't go your way
I'll always be here for you
And try to brighten up your day

I am so very sorry
When your world goes out of control
I'll be right here to listen
To things that bother your soul

I am so very sorry
Should your world come to an end
I'll pick up your broken hearted pieces
And put them back together again

I am so very sorry
Should you miss me now and again
I'll try and make it up to you
That's the least I can do, my friend
