I am so proud
to have you as my sun
that brightens every obscurity in me

I am so proud
to have you as my rainfall
that wets my arid farmland
and makes my grains grow

I am so proud
for having you as my compass
pointing to the north
the east, the south or the west
when I find myself at a crossroad

I am so proud
having you as my sounding-board
whose consideration knows no limit
when it turns sweet or sour

So, I’m proud
