I Am So Over You Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

I Am So Over You

You were no good
Used me for selfish gain
Cause you felt a love
When it benefits you
So you call me now
Say you want me around
You exhausted the right
to have me in your life
I am so over you

Now you're lonely, you want me there
but when I was, you didn't even care
this act of desperation, I am not buying
Better without you, you can keep trying

I had loved you
another time now
I had loved you
and you're back around

begging for my affection
Deal with this rejection
I am so over you

Baby, when I left
I wasn't gon' return
I wanted to be free
I want you to know

you want a place in my heart
reservations for a room is full
and you got no strings to pull
it back together
we fell apart
and now
I am so over you
