I am OK with waiting
I would wait forever

I am Ok with being second
If only I am on the list

I am Ok with being alone
It is how I was born
It will be how I die

I am OK with being caring
You do not know the full extent

I am Ok with being hurt
I can heal my own heart

I am Ok with being there
As a shoulder to cry on
As a solider to fight on
As a pillow to fall on
As a friend to lean on

I am OK with you
But you do not care
I feel broken
Sad
Neglected

But I am OK
Because I still get to see you
I still see you face
Every single day
You break my heart
Then stick it back together
But I am OK

I am Ok with this life
It is all I have ever known
I will wait for you
I will take you by the hand
Feel your skin against mine
See your loving eyes
Look down on me
And know you are here
You are real
Then I will wake
From this sweet dream
But I am OK
