I Am Not Weaker Poem by Madhuri Sawant

I Am Not Weaker

Don’t you ever consider me?
As a weaker one,
I can cook for my family
I can work for my family
I can toil for my family
It is through me
You ever had the pleasure
Of seeing our kids.
All those lame men
Think ‘ I should not get out of my house’
Why so?
I can even be the breadwinner of my family
I don’t need you if
You consider me just a toy to play
Because this toy can one day
Become a great idol for our kids.
If this is your house
I would want to move out of it
And I promise to my god who sees all
One day you will come to my house.
I don’t care if you are superior to me
But I am not inferior to anybody.
I don’t care if you are taller than me
Because I can reach more summit than your height can ever reach
I don’t care if you are stronger than me
Because I can be more firm than your strength can ever teach.
I don’t care if you raise your voice
Because my voice have the strength to break your voice
I don’t care if you are breadwinner of my family
Because I am the one who created my family,
Which you can’t replace me.
