I Am Not A Man Who Is Smart How Can I Ever Out Smart Poem by Lajpat Chawla

I Am Not A Man Who Is Smart How Can I Ever Out Smart

I am not a man who is smart.
Just one with an open heart.
Timid soft and easy going,
How can I ever out smart?
I win over I do not woo,
To her, I shall go and coo.
I may be a simpleton yes,
But with a loving heart.
I dream of her every night,
To me she looks as if a kite.
Whose thread I hold in my hands
With a grip which is so hard.
My soul is hurt my body is fine
I seek a girl who can enter
My psyche like love- dart.
I am not a man who is smart.
Just one with an open heart.
Timid soft and easy going,
How can I ever out smart?
