I Am Legacy Poem by Oscar Small

I Am Legacy

I am Legacy
Hear me out!
I am legacy
My parents are legacy as well
So that makes me one with them
They live through me
The joy they feel
I feel
Their pain
Is mine as well
For I am legacy
When the strong wind came and tries to knock me down
Will I fall to and be lost forever
No
I will always stand tall because
I am legacy
The rocky roads that I travel I go not alone
For I carry legacy is with me
Where ever I go they are there
A thought about something I was told in the pass
Because I am there child
The life that I live it is not because of me
It is what they put in me
For I am legacy
