I Am Curious But Wise Poem by Bryce Miller

I Am Curious But Wise

Rating: 5.0

I am curious but wise,
I wonder what the world will come to,
I hear tiny footsteps,
I see glowing eyes,
I want to run,
I am curious but wise.
I pretend not to hear them,
I feel scared and shy,
I touch the engulfing darkness,
I wonder if I will die,
I cry for the future of earth,
I am curious but wise.
I understand what will happen,
I preach that it won't,
I dream of happiness and peace,
I try to make it so,
I hope for a dramatic change,
I am curious but wise.
