I Am An Atheist (Acrostic) Poem by Mal Sharp

I Am An Atheist (Acrostic)

It is beyond me to conceive,
All the reasons why you believe.
Messages left in an old book,
Acquiescence is all it took.
No questions allowed, to be made,
Acknowledge it all, don't dissuade.
The rules no longer make any sense,
Hopefully, we'll stop this pretence.
End all our absurd agreeing,
In all our mythical beings.
Select a side, don't be frightened,
There is no god, be enlightened.

I thought it was a dull poem by the title but from the very first line it proves it's a well versed reflection. Nice write. So good for humans to co-exist, as human beings regardless of belief or non-belief, i am a half believer and half doubter if there is anything like that at all.lol
