I Am An Alibi Poem by Meron Hailom

As i am young
going to an old age
somethings I protest
make me an alibi
with no lie,
with all there is
so...many things
to change,
my country has succuss
and I am
proud of this! !
We passed recognition
In no need of termination
staying in temptation
Built system of unity
believing in equality:
our scarsity
is only, material gaurantee!
We are in war with poverty
but not identity!
These make me
.............an alibi..........
For accusation
againest my nation!
