I Am A Sign Poem by Penless and Pennyless

I Am A Sign

I am a sign, I am the first sign
And I have an address
The most remote part is mine,
On the earth, more or less.

On the earth, in the solar system,
In the middle of milky way,
There are many other, but I let them
go in their own way

I have no eyes, I have no ears.
I don't have senses at all.
But there's no years, there's no tears.
There's no words to call.

Millions of years ago,
A certain Qfwfq drew me.
But after two million years did go,
Even Qfwfq didn't know me.

I marked the time, I marked the space
I made the name possible
If it were not for me in the first place,
It would have been horrible.

I remembered Qfwfq, and the way he made me.
I was grateful to it.
I was wondering if it would see
That a fire of hope was lit.

And after millions it came back,
It had a different story
'I was not me', I was taken aback
I lost my glory

It made many signs since then
So I had friends
But it said they were my enemies,
So were the trends

False signs, true signs, real signs,
perfect signs,
Beautiful signs, nullified signs and personified signs,
Friends, Enemies, Liars, All of them were signs.

Then it became hot like we're on heaters
The chick became omlete.
Passed many years, passed many kilometers,
Then man made everything obsolete.

Now everything is complicated,
Oh, what a pity,
In spite of this, I am elated,
I have an identity.

I am a sign, I am the first sign
And I have an address
The most remote part is mine,
On the earth, more or less.
