I Am A Pheonix Poem by Leah Johnston

I Am A Pheonix

Rating: 4.5

(inspired by Duncan Wyllie's
^^^^^^PHOENIX^^^^^^)

I am a phoenix,
reborn from my own ashes.

I will not linger on the past nor regret
but I will embrace it,
and look forward to the future
for I am a symbol of fire and divinity.
I will soar through the hearts of men
bringing to them hope,
that they too can be born again.
I will fly through the skies
singing my song,
the song that even Apollo stops to listen.
I will represent the rising and setting of the sun,
I will symbolize a great many things,
to many different parts of the world.
Even though only one of me exists at a time
there will be phoenixes all over the world.
I will live on forever,
Never dying,
but existing in the hearts of man.

Reborn from my ashes,
I am a phoenix.
