I Am A Certain Poetes Poem by Tsira Gogeshvili

I Am A Certain Poetes

I am a certain poetess
Strewing about the rhymes.
My heart blazes on and on,
Its fire burns at all times.

I don’t need the planet’s formula.
With such thoughts a poet never plays:
Whether the radiant sunbeams
Are quanta or just the waves.

I am a certain poetess.
I, surely, have no name.
Against the faded moon,
I am the star’s charm and flame.

I am a certain poetess
Who serves the Maker's ends
A servant of devotion
Chasing storms and winds.

wow! very lyrical and certainly very fluid in structure. I love the second stanza and the beggining of the 3rd with, 'I have no name' defintely puts a stamp on this and to me its just that one verse that truly makes it stand out! Theres is almost something very medieval about it and something war like about it. 'My heart blazes on and on'... Like a true warrior that you are. Well penned. tfs 10/10
