I am a wish
Wish for me
I am a dream
Dream of me
I am desire
Give into me
I am the tree
I bear your fruits
I am the earth
I give you roots
I am
And so you are


I am all this
And then some more
I am a spirit
Found amongst lore
I am a total of my deeds
I am the sum
Of the life you breathe
I am the reason you are weak
And yet I am what you seek
I am also the strength
That keeps you alive
I am inspiration
I am devotion
I am what is sacrificed
At the altar of a deity
That sits in your mind
I am
And so you are


I am the breeze
I am the wave on the seas
I am an oyster
That nurses the pearl
I am what makes
Your emotions twirl
I am transient
I am permanent
I am what you want me to be
I am in whatever you seek
I am
And so you are


I am the soul
You left behind
I am here to make you mind
I have made my mistakes
I have loved overjoyed
I have lost
And I have cried
I have carried this pain
With a smile
And yet again opened my self
To your shine
I am your tears
I am what cheers
I am trust
I am faith


I am what you will finally find
I will let you into paradise
Help you feel it with my eyes
I am peace
I am kind
I will play with your mind
I am for now
I am forever
I am a perennial river
I am the water that runs deep
I am all the secrets
You keep
I am
And so you are


I am for what I long
I am melody
I am the swan song
I am gentle
I will break
I will give all that it takes
To make you happy
To make you smile
To leave a memory
That will outshine
That people will speak of
For years to come
There was this woman…
And then there were some!


And when I am no more

You still will be!
