Knowing I is about repetition and more repetition.
The self is a grammatical craft.
Being metered,
Having the blues and
The companion of wine and
resorting to bribes.

Knowing I is about recitations of famous people to have your own
Voice and style.
And behind this 'decent human' is the Self of
Simile and metaphor-
The shadow of plagiarism.

Knowing I is about happenings
Not a free me,
Limited like a schedule.

Dig deep and out, then throw.
A red heart in a wheelbarrow,
A voice saying out loud,
drowned out by the gravels being displaced.
