I Am Poem by Laquory Jones

You asked me what do I see in my future years
I just hope that people will remember me
Long live my legacy I'm a fighter I was made
To levitate to my dreams long live my memory
A fixture of the 21 century I'll no longer let
Doubters hinder me don't forget that it's forever
You and me together we hold the key and with
It I'm locking out increasing doubt go ahead
Let me hear you shout I'm your pick me up
When you've found yourself going through the
Rough yes indeed we will still be hanging
Tough I'm never going to hang it up I'm
Just gonna let the words soak this up
Even when you think I'm forever done
I'm going to come back as someone
My life will become the smoking gun
Of things to come my life has only
Begun you just thought that it's all said
And done I'm just trying to amp you up

This world has let me down enough
From the day I slipped inside & opened
like mind eyes and began to fall I've been
Through it all but I'm still standing tall
Now tell me who can you call have you
Figured it out I am what you say
Every tear when you bawl
The eyes staring at the walls
The embers burning within the souls
Every legend left untold
Everything that you regret
The years passing by
The revolution that's about to start
The fire that's igniting sparks
Every obstacle I'll obliterate
The person that'll pave the way
The words that never fades away
A leader of the wise and bold
Let the truth be told while these
Words resonate let my words
Insinuate I only came to motivate.
