I Am

I am a blissful bird;
a snowy egret,
a warbler
Unworried;
enjoying the freedom
of flight and song.
I am a flower; hopeful
yellow iris of the pond,
lavender wild orchid
My mother is the earth,
my father the light;
I am the marsh
Spectacularly thriving
on water and sunshine;
I am a naturalist
When necessary
I wander this existence
in my mind.
