liked you more...
divisive
and insidious
things
you said and did
bred mistrust...
but, by gods,
any, many and all,
I miss your dog...
he was a dear
and delightful fellow,
a fine being...
I loved him,
and shall
'til
there's
no breath in me, none...
beyond, who knows?
I share your sorrow at his passing....

Aww...isn't it funny, the things we can become so attached to and find hard to let go after a breakup? A great poem. Can feel the anger and yet the sadness and frustration. Nice write!
