I

I love you
Three words
That mean everything to me
Only when I say them to you
That mean everything to me
Only when I remember you
Three words
That mean everything to me
Only when you come to my mind
That mean everything to me
Only when I think of you
Three words
That my heart screams out with sincerity
That make my mind turn to the two words
The only two words that my lips form
Whenever I think of you
The only two words that says
Thank you
Yes, these two words
May seem dry and drained
But they are the only words
That lead me to say
The only one word
I can relate to
And the only one sentence
That I am certain of
I
Yes I
And I mean I
Yes I will always need you.

poet Rupert Brooke

If I should die, think only this of me:
That there's some corner of a foreign field
