Hysteria Poem by Billy Thompson

Hysteria

When you walk outside
You lose a moment with every stride
With all the dangers in this world
Your body is faced with constant peril

So let not your pretty head fret
It is one thing you can bet
If you live long enough you will see
That you cannot run nor can you flee

From the inevitable end we shall face
As death visits the entire human race
It is not relevant the cause that ends our life
Nor the path of our strife

However, it is essential and worthwhile
That we all take a moment to smile
Enjoy each second we have here and now
Don't worry about death or how

Grasp life and love it with all your might
Then you will not fret your ascending flight
