Hypocrisy Poem by Bree Z Love

Hypocrisy

The air I breath is like hypocrisy
to the words, I see.
They want to escape me
to tell you
of the hate that has been inhaled into me.

However, I inhaled and exhaled; the negativity.
Of my World's where men and women; alike mistreated me.
Played upon my vulnerabilities.
Limiting resources of necessities.

My true nature to nurture:
God's pleasantries.
Earthbound luxuries.
Damaged.
Polluted.
Mankind created.
Their infirmities.

And I struggle to breath
And push to speak those words into life.
Into the air, filtering hypocrisy.
Those words ascending into the air.
I want to fight for, I was apparent; they hated all my cares.
I, too wanted to secretly not care.
However, my innate character.
Only allowed for me to kill the sheer.
Hypocrisy.
Leaving an enlightment for my heirs.
Inhaled and exhaled; breath.
Inhaled and exhaled; breath.
Words into the air.
