Hyperbole Poem by Ferdinand L Quintos

Hyperbole

You ask me very frequently
measure of my sincerity,
hark and I will tell you shortly
that you may have serenity.

I love you with all honesty
compared with the consistency
of great oceans’ salinity,
maintained so much with constancy.

All fresh waters that may emerge
from the earth’s heart and its fastness
may into them flow and converge
but never bate their saltiness.

Hyperbolic may seem this talk,
with openness I will admit
truth is I took you for a walk,
put up with your doubting habit.
