Hymn Poem by Paul Butters

Hymn

Sing out for freedom,
Sing out for Love.
Cry out for guidance
From above.

Chant loud with passion,
Chant high with joy.
Let's hear you warble
Hoy, hoy, hoy!

Let's do some crooning,
By all means:
With something fit
For kings and queens.

If you can't sing
Then you can hum.
We'll still be going
To number one.

These may be hymns
Or even carols.
Either way
You'll get both barrels.

Now we're purring,
Feel the buzz.
Do join in.
Be one of us.

Hear those voices resonate
All for one and one for all.
You can hear us intonate:
Let's have a ball.

Those good vibrations
Everywhere.
You up there
Just hear our prayer.
