Hurt

Did they write you in history that
You got hurt, did they leave you
To embrace drugs, did they hurt
You because that's the only thing

That made you forget, did they
Disobey or obey because either
Way you came whenever you
Wanted to drugs helped you

But did they really just screw you
Over, or did you not have anyone
To talk to but did they love you like
Your family did because I would

Have given up the world for you
But they would never do that so
Forget me but don't return unless
Your condition is cured

EVEN such is Time, that takes in trust
Our youth, our joys, our all we have,
And pays us but with earth and dust;
