Hunt Poem by Pradip Chattopadhyay

Hunt

the lone heron
splits the moon
in marsh light

a blurry swish
sucks the fish
livens night

hushes ploops
the moon recoups
shimmers bright

refilled want
ends the hunt
catches flight

A beautiful take on a heron catching a fish and after appeasing his hunger taking off to flight
