Hummingbird Song Poem by Katie Figueroa

Hummingbird Song

Delicate hummingbird bearing precious seed
In your tears you've planted a garden
Sown with prayer
Dear to the heart of the King.

Sweet aroma, delicate flower
Fragrant sacrifice, your seeds are sown.
The harvest is ripe.
Each one the King's delight.

Princess and Kings,
Paupers, and Queens
The call rings out
Prayers watered with tears
Here they come to follow the King.
